Hi again
As we're commencing the new Half Ironman Program and as we've had a few changes over the Xmas Period, I thought it useful to quickly send over this graphical representation of "how hard we go and when" on a weekly basis for your information. The intensity is indicated by the colour of the background with cream being very low intensity and red being really quite a tough session. Obviously with things such as recovery weeks, focus on technique, recovery after races etc, there will be flexibility within this, but just to give you an idea of what to expect and when (especially if you're not following the Half Ironman Program), its all here. Probably the biggest thing to note is the swap around of the Tuesday and Thursday swim sessions...Tuesday used to be the harder of the two, but following a solid day on a Monday, will now be a relatively long & steady session, with Thursday's session being the key threshold set for the week, especially after Wednesday's evening off.
