Dear All

Details of each Saturday's Brick Session from Saturday 27th September onwards will be posted here. Inline with the common concessus we shall look at starting this ride at the new earlier time of 5.30am to encourage more of you to be able to ride / run without it taking up your whole day. We will aim to meet each week at 5.30am at the Dodgy Dunnies on the southside of the Narrows Bridge, or at an alternative meeting point as decided each week and as agreed upon on this thread by you guys.

We need to get this session much stronger than previous weeks with respect to attendees as we can all benefit from the strength of training in numbers. Please do your best to support this move where possible.

Further details to follow. Please add your thoughts below!

Thanks

Paul

Saturday 27th September:

Meet at Dodgy Dunnies at 5.30am for a 140km ride and 5km run of the bike. Follow the route at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2274052 as per the following:

"This is essentially a 140km out & back route that takes you down the freeway bike path to Armadale Road, east on Armadale Road until you meet Albany HWY, north on Albany HWY and then right and heading east on Brookton HWY. Turn around when you speedo says 70km. Once you arrived back, you will transition to a short 5km run off the bike. This will be a challenging circuit and extreme care should be taken on the major roads that are used. Please execute a good nutrition strategy for the session."

I will NOT be present this week at the start of this session (will be back from next week onwards), but please make the effort to attend as a group. Ride together until you get to South Street and then split up according to your ability. No drafting after South Street. Ride at IM pace and 95rpm and follow a good nutrition strategy.

Enjoy and let me know how you go!

Paul
