| Post subject: | IRON MAN 70.3 - SOUTH AFRICA - 19 JANUARY 2009 |
The first event was run in 2008 in East London, on South Africa's east coast (warm water). This event is now a fixture on 70.3 calendar. Those that participated earlier this year tell me it was a great event, with the 2009 event planned to be even greater. For those of you looking for an event (and a holiday) around this time of year, it is a good option (cheap accommodation, food, drink, equipment etc due to exchange rate). It is 6 weeks after Busso, and a few weeks before the City of Perth O.D. triathlon, so can fit around these events. As it is in my "birth" town and we are spending the Christmas holidays visiting family in South Africa, I intend entering. If other people are interested please let me know & I can advise on accommodation etc. |
